Introducing BEGINNINGS: A Legacy of Friendship & a Fresh, Culinary Guide to Salads

Bursting onto the culinary scene with flavor, heart, and heritage, Beginnings will

feature the Presidents who have guided our friendships for 45 years (!),

reveal a bit of our history in an engaging timeline, and present the simple elegance

of salads while weaving a rich story of friendship and shared journeys.

BEGINNINGS will invite readers into a vibrant world of crisp greens, bold dressings,

and artful combinations—all inspired by meaningful connections and communal

experiences. Whether you’re a seasoned home cook or just learning the rhythm of

your kitchen, BEGINNINGS serves up more than recipes—it offers our heritage as a vital,

vibrant club in the cultural fabric of Huntsville, and brings a heartfelt homage to how

food can nurture bonds that last a lifetime.

 

We would love to include one salad recipe from each of our members! So that we have the books ready for the Fashion Show in October, the deadline for your recipe submission is Friday,AUGUST 22, 2025.

Please include:

·      Your name as you’d like it to appear

·      The title of the dish

·      The number of servings it makes

·      Directions and any ‘notes’ you’d like to include.

·      And please use T for tablespoon and tsp for teaspoon

 

Duplicate recipes will carry the name of all who have submitted it.
